THE KVDA SHOP
KVDA re-branded and introduced the new look of the KVDA Shop in Eldoret. The shop was officially re-opened by Dr. Joseph Rotumoi, KVDA Board Member on 1st April, 2021.

The KVDA Shop in Eldoret Uasin Gishu County is located at KVDA Plaza (ground floor) Oloo Street. This is one stop shop with the aim of marketing, selling and enhance easy access of high quality KVDA products. These products are; Kerio Valley Pure Natural Acacia Honey, Kerio Valley Mango Fruit Juice, beehives (Top bar and Langstroth), Cenchrus Ciliaris (African Foxtail grass seed), assorted Fruit Tree and Bamboo seedlings.
The Authority is implementing the Big 4 Agenda; food security and manufacturing. KVDA region has a huge potential for honey production, which is estimated at 1,700mts annually. The Authority has set up a modern honey processing plant which provides a ready market for crude/semi processed honey from farmers. The facility is located at Rokocho in Elgeyo Marakwet County and currently process and package 70 tons of semi-processed honey annually, it has a potential capacity to process and package 200 tons annually.
In the same note the Authority has tapped into value addition and establish a Mango Processing Factory in Tot, Elgeyo Marakwet that process fresh mango juice from variety of mango fruits sourced from the Kerio Valley region.It is estimated that the region has capacity to produce over 50,000 tonnes of Mango fruits yearly with a potential to earn farmers more income with value addition. KVDA provides a platform for empowering rural households along the region by providing ready market for their mangoes.
To market these products KVDA has established other sales outlets; Nairobi Liaison Office, KVDA offices in Samburu, Lodwar, Kabarnet and Tot, Government Ministries (Ministry of Agriculture-Kilimo House, Ministry of Education – Jogoo House, NYS Ruaraka office, Office of the President -Harambee House and other retail outlets like supermarkets. The also market its products online .
